Zoe Wilcox and Bard Edrington V of The Palm in The Cypress will be relocating their lives for a short period to northern New Mexico. The summer of 2016 will bring gigs to Albuquerque, Santa Fe and North New Mexico, as well as a follow up album to their EP. They will go into the famous Frogville Studios in Santa Fe and record their first full length album.
In August they pack up the truck and head south of the border to live in Chacala, Mexico. Chacala is a wonderful small fishing village in the state of Nayarit. Last winter The Palm in The Cypress played weekly shows in Chacala at Chac Mool and found the tourist and locals to be a great audience. Every Wednesday night at Chac Mool was filled with dancing. It was proven that roots music, no matter where its from, is internationally appreciated. So for the next year you can find them playing on the Riviera Nayarit. Coming to a beach near you.
